2 cups diced peeled Spartan apple (about 3/4 pound)
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional: for those who want a spicy kick)
